Flashcards is a language learning tool for Mac OS X. Version 0.71 enables the toolbar item to delete lists/flashcards and fixes a bug that caused the application to crash when running a quiz. Version 0.72 adds a number of new features, fixes some bugs, and changes the interface a bit. Version 0.73 adds some new features, improves the implementation and reliability of the toolbar, fixes the bug that prevented editing the current flashcard during a quiz, and makes adding flashcards faster while at the same time helping you avoid adding duplicates of existing cards. Version 0.74 improves the quiz view interface. The dining halls provide excellent nutrition information, but it’s not always easy to interpret all of the numbers! That’s where the Yale Meal Planner can help. Smart Pin Yin Keyboard Layout (Mac OS X) This keyboard layout allows for more natural entry of pin yin text in Mac OS X. Instead of searching for accents on the extended Mac OS X keyboard, just type chang2 to get cháng. When you type a full pin yin syllable and then a number 1 through 4, Smart Pin Yin will automatically add the correct accent to the correct vowel, even if the syllable contains such combinations as “ou” or “ei”. Download Smart Pin Yin.keylayout Unzip the archive Place the resulting file in ~/Library/Keyboard Layouts Restart, or log out and log in Activate “Smart Pin Yin” in the “International” system preference You can now switch to Smart Pin Yin from the keyboard layout menu on your menu bar Gypsy—A Card Game Gypsy is a fun card game that I invented with some friends while on our high school band tour in Italy over spring break 2004.
